Back in 2007 I bought 120 Hz TV. In 2022 (15 yrs later) I bought a 60 Hz 4k TV. I am going back to 120 Hz for my next TV a whole lot sooner than I want to. You can totally see the difference. I’m never going back to 60.
I got a 75" Hisense Roku TV and frankly I love it, I mean if I was way better off I might get a better TV but as of now I’m not getting anything over 500 dollars
just a reminder, cheap tvs also are prone to failure, i see so many that arent even that old on the side of the road from their driver boards being shot
works great for about a year after software updates bricks it one way or another.
– no security updates so hacker just tales over the home network and any pc.
– Netflix and any other app stop support and promptly stops to work.
– Uppdata software bricks the TV itself requiring the user to dismantle it and replace the Hard drive/ssd/memory card.
this voids warrant by the way.
I mean if you have good eyesight and a good phone idk how ppl cant distinguish a good panel. I think its the eyesight part. Most panels i look at always make me think "my phone looks better"
My cheap TV has two bugs which are annoying. 1. If you watch streaming with no HDMI input it pops up a warning and turns itself off 60 seconds later due to inactivity. 2. Sometimes streaming you get a green screen and have to reach behind TV to do hard restart.

Oled technoladgy is very cool, because if youre watching a movie with the lights out, the colour black is pitch black while on regular led tv’s is like grey.
Its a big difference, but yeah cheap tv’s are good tv’s these days.
I keep my crt
No latency and oled colors
Well kinda low resolution and framerate is a bit meh but well ok for anything else then retro gaming it’s not the best
Ok get a crt monitor they have high res they are occasionally even higher res than full hd and sometimes a bit more than 1440p and have a minimum of 70hz
No latency, oled like colors and you will still find vga adapters anywhere to connect them to
And yes vga can carry up to 1600×1200 no problem
Good enough projectors with actual 1080p start at 200. If you set it close enough to the wall to make a 70 inch screen instead of the advertised max 200 inches, it’s nice and bright too.
The amount of times I went over to a friends house and played on their 50in TV, really irks me delay is so bad and then they call me bad cause I can’t get shots

Not having a TV is far superior to having absolutely any tv.
